The top two photographs are still life fine art food photography, while the bottom photographs are editorial food photography. In general I think that while both types of food photography are artistic and creative, I find fine art food photography to be more abstract, artistic and unique in comparison to editorial food photography. There is a more natural feel to the photograph in regards to editorial food photography, while fine art food photography is more abstract, posed and set up.
